Asian-style Thanksgiving Party

Our busiest month officially started last Sunday with our Asian-style "Thanksgiving Party" held inside a small Church venue. Though mine kicked-off with our company's "Sports Day & New Year's Party" last Friday. Yep, our social calendar is about to explode with four more parties and family get-togethers.And with the holiday shopping rush soon upon us, you can't help but sing "it's the most wonderful time of the year". Yeah!! Here are some of the highlights of our Thanksgiving party:     Me wearing Floral Pattern Midi-Dress from Something Borrowed. Me and my daughter in full bloom matchy-matchy outfit because why not. Hahaha So here's the only photo I was able to snap of my husband because he was too engaged at being the photographer. And by the way, he is the official photographer of this blog if he's not lazy. Kidding! Here's our beloved pastor giving his welcome speech and o

Black Weekend

Hello. I'm writing to you again because as I tried to access my blog on the blogger app and supposedly add some photos, it surprisingly reverted me back to the original post and deleted everything I wrote to you this morning. Boooo!! Blogger App tech sucks!! Hahaha. Anyway, I've got three things for you today: a black bag, my funny Badminton story happened yesterday and a special announcement. Do you remember this cute little bag I got from  ZALORA Thailand  for Black Friday? Well, I'm oh all over it last weekend and I'm looking forward to being able to use it to work as well. I've been in the lookout for a smaller bag that won't swallow my petite frame and this one certainly is a perfect choice. Its simplicity is stylish enough to take you to the office and to coffee shops over the weekend. I'm more into classic basic items that don't break the bank. I mean, we don't have to spend a fortune to look trendy or fashionable right? Ok,

Happy 22-Month Chloe!

At this point of her development, she can now understand many more words than she can actually say. So I'm trying to focus on her listening skills than stressing myself out on her speaking progress. I borrowed some practical tip from Mark and Grace Driscoll, to place a hand on the head of your children every day and pray over them. So every day I pray to God that she be healthy, smart, cheerful and carefree and God-fearing; that she will advance her language progress to a good degree. But while keeping my faith on it, I might as well enjoy simple but happy memories of times together. What I love most is when I sing nursery rhymes with her and naturally sing along with me even if she can't say all the words. Her attempt at carrying the tune is just perfect to my ears. Like for example when I sing "head, shoulders, knees and toes" she is able to point out her body parts at the right places. And all the ad-lib the nursery teacher is saying in her favorite "C

Festive Wishlist

Festive Wishlist by dadadotcom featuring River Island As the holiday party season quickly approaching, many of us are jumping into an early Christmas shopping. Or is it just me?  Earlier next month, Delle and I are scheduled to attend a Thanksgiving party organized by our church mates. We also have one formal Christmas party lined up by mid of December, so it will (as expected) be one busy holiday month. I picked out this off-shoulder red dress from  ZALORA Thailand   Festive Collection as my starting point and couldn't resist to add more styles with the same color . I've been into body con dresses lately thinking they give the illusion of a towering figure when partnered with high heels, but to be a bit church formal I chose this style. It's perfect for a lot of dancing and singing praises activities with a super active baby in mind. But the question of whether to go nude or black on accessories is something I have to procrastinate and decide on the last minute

Krabi Travel Diary

Vacations can be so tricky. From receiving your booking confirmation to choosing where to stay, from deciding what to bring, packing your things and to coordinating with your travel buddies, can either make your trip memorable or something you regret ends up doing. But I think the most important of it all is how well adjusted and positive minded those people you are traveling with. Because no matter how well you plan every detail of your travel, if people who are part of it succeeded at injecting negative vibes on you, your trip is doomed to fail. Krabi is a special place for me since our last trip with my husband and some friends. So the moment I knew my parents were coming over a holiday, I booked us an Airasia flight right away. Thinking it would be more fun to have my baby girl on board. I didn’t anticipate the stress this got me until my parents wanted to back out at the last minute. And my husband was on their side. This was the second time someone tried to stop

Chocolate Ville

Despite the super tight NAIA airport security my parents were able to sneak out from Manila to Bangkok for a few weeks of vacation. I mean we don't see any problem with two amazing old people going out of a country after 48 years (literally speaking) but knowing my father with undeniable life philosophy, he will not blindly follow or break rules, for the sake of it following/breaking them. That being said, the annoying stubborn teenager in me is apparently from him. Oh please, no need to call the police the situation is under control. Lol! Yes, my parents are here for a few weeks of holiday vacay but spent most of the time potato-couching because they are too lazy to go out. Not unless you raise the roof by setting a rule of "dinner outside" only. The problem with old amazing people (stubbornness aside) is that they keep on thinking about the work they left in the farm and never stop working at such old age. I'm taking them to Krabi next week for a beach
