I have to confess, I think I have a dangerous love affair with online shopping simply because I buy almost everything online. One of the main reasons I prefer online shopping over the conventional bricks-and-mortar shopping is its convenience. And I'm so happy to find another shopping mecca on the internet, StyleWe. Their beautifully constructed website is easy to navigate and is u

Aisle Style UK: Your Ultimate Prom Dress Guide

So when Aisle Style UK reached out to me and wanted me to showcase their latest collection of prom dresses I've said yes with a strange excitement. This reminds me of my Aunt's tailoring shop where I took an effort to make my own unique prom gown, "something that fits me well and represents my personality" I told my aunt and I can still clearly remember that approving look on her eyes. It would have been my own cinderella moment with an off-the-shoulder ruby ball gown except that our organizer canceled our JS Prom last minute. Well, teenagers are notorious for making their own rules and breaking somebody else's. Anyway, I don't want you to get to that awkward stage where you'll look back at your prom pictures and cringe, okay? About AISLE STYLE: Aisle Style was founded in 2007 and is a global online retailer of evening dresses, wedding dresses, and most especially prom dresses. They guarantee you the best quality products at reasonable pri

There Are Many Ways To See the World

I ’m  yearning for the sound of water flowing from the faucet, the sink is clogged.  I’m longing for the giggling of kids and heavy footsteps running up and down the stairs – beautiful slippers are scattered all around.  I’m curious about the people talking behind the walls - with noises I don’t understand.   I love the transparency of emotions on a woman’s eyes when she’s giving you something or asking you for a favor – her head bowed down.  I love to hear stories of the past – good or bad. I listen to every testimony this woman imparts – God is indeed good in everyone’s life.  I wonder how she loves to wear this worn-out dress when she’s this close to complaining she has a lot of dress to organize.  I admire this person’s ability to convince and sell you something you don’t personally support – she understands that.  I unleash genuine smiles and children greetings in the morning air – the hype of being a morning person.   I love the idea of having a shared ba

My 31st Month Old: Favorite Word

My 31-month-old is probably getting more conversational and having more and more vocabularies. Let’s start with “Please” and “Thank You”, again? Yes because I love how these words come out naturally from her even if you’re the one asking a favor. Like when I say, “Chloe can you please hand me my towel?” She would happily respond with a yes and would even utter the sweetest words, “Thank You” in her most charming sometimes funny accent. Say Noah-say! Awe!! While I’m still learning a discipline strategy that works best for me and Chloe, I’m not aware I’ve been responding to her unpleasant actions with a quick NO most of the time. That said, she rapidly picked up the word and I’m tagging it as her grand favorite. And to be quite truthful, most of the time this month she loves to play a game called, “No matter how genuinely enthusiastic your requests are I will still answer you with a blunt NO”. Yep, it will take a lot of repetition yourself before you reached your limit

Next Destination: Phuket, Thailand

This massive Island is best enjoyed by few days or weeks of stay or exploration. Initially, my family had planned a 7days 6 nights stay to experience Phuket's top destinations, secret beaches, best seafood and the nightlife but unfortunately, our trip was shortened by a heartless bombing attack that was meant to scare us, tourists. We were devastated but made the most of our 3 days stay. To be honest, I did struggle with finding the right place to stay here. There are more than 30 beaches in Phuket and I can't believe I can now confidently say this but Patong Beach is the best starting point. Here you can find hotel accommodation ranging from small sizes to luxury ones. Shopping malls and naughty nightlife are just walking distance. I really enjoyed shopping clothes and accessories here like what I love to do in Bangkok. We stayed at Patong V Hotel booked via Booking.com and only paid B 1,623 for 3 nights. Speaking of stylish, clean and wide hotel rooms at af
