My 29th Month Old : Daddy's Little Girl

Can we get real and personal for a moment? I heard some alarming trend from my teenage  relatives back home; most are expecting, some are assuming and (proud) and it’s kind of frightening. It makes me wonder, if what I’ve written or posted on social media somehow gave them the slightest idea? I don’t wanna give you the wrong impression (especially the teens and the young ladies) that motherhood or parenthood is all about the cute photos, matchy-matchy outfit or the everyday #ootds. It’s HARD WORK and it’s beyond being responsible; I want you to know that you’re raising a little human who will become part of a larger society and his attitude and ways towards people around him will reflect you, as their parents. I know, I’m not your mom and it’s your own life and you can do whatever you want but I just hope you know what you're doing. Because if not, do me a favor! Cook dinner for your mom, sit down and listen to her stories. Take every single word she has to say (take it ser

Road to Dreamland: Unexpected Lullabies for All Ages

An old love might just be back. I was once that annoying yet curious teenager (extended until my early 20s) who wants to experience everything to herself. Who listen to her music by earphone/headphone on almost everywhere to signal everyone around that she's doing her own thing and that she doesn't want to deal with anybody. Though I still cherish a walk to the neighborhood with some T.Swift music playing just a few yards away or some love songs in the background during date night, I just eventually stop making time for it. (Except for Nursery Rhymes and Kid's songs we sing along when we hang out on the bed with my little one ;-) So when Patricia asked me to listen to Jane's new album Road to Dreamland:Unexpected Lullabies

Ha! Great! We're not pushing Chloe to star in sports yet but it seems like her love for outdoor games and sports launched in a little early and automatically. I don't know about you, but from that moment she begged daddy & mommy to buy that soccer ball on display, in high-pitch tone with matching tears on her eyes, I know it's  a good match to her personality. Of course, it takes time and patience to discover her lifelong source of enjoyment. And I know, no two children grow at the same rate or develop an interest in the same things but while other kids at her age further along with vocabu
