Black Weekend

Hello. I'm writing to you again because as I tried to access my blog on the blogger app and supposedly add some photos, it surprisingly reverted me back to the original post and deleted everything I wrote to you this morning. Boooo!! Blogger App tech sucks!! Hahaha.

Anyway, I've got three things for you today: a black bag, my funny Badminton story happened yesterday and a special announcement.

Do you remember this cute little bag I got from ZALORA Thailand for Black Friday? Well, I'm oh all over it last weekend and I'm looking forward to being able to use it to work as well. I've been in the lookout for a smaller bag that won't swallow my petite frame and this one certainly is a perfect choice. Its simplicity is stylish enough to take you to the office and to coffee shops over the weekend. I'm more into classic basic items that don't break the bank. I mean, we don't have to spend a fortune to look trendy or fashionable right? Ok, great! :)

And speaking of life lessons, I took my backyard favorite game to a whole new venue yesterday (inside our company factory). Lol! I used to play Badminton a lot with my older brother when I was in primary. We don't play by the rules, though, what we really mastered was on how hard you hit the shuttlecock. The farther it landed, the better. And for the first time in a long while, I'm playing against my lady boss.  I'm thrilled to travel the memory lane with this game. I want to beat the person who hired me. I smashed the shuttlecock with all the energy left after being sick in two weeks now. And I realized, I'm good at this game if I'm not throwing rackets on people. I perfectly exploited the bad in Badminton. Now, I have to endure muscle pain from my index finger to the upper back part of my arms. But I had fun, knowing I'm still long way to go. Hahaha!

To summed it up, in life and in badminton, you should not only work hard and play hard, you also have to do smart work to achieve success.

So before my minor arm injuries prevent me from writing to you my special announcement, please don't forget to check out "12.12 Online Fever" from ZALORA Thailand on this 12th of December. It would be a massive sale to end this year with a bang!!

Till next time.

xx
Glenda

Irresistible Me Diamond Flat Iron Review: Is it worth it?

I started using flat irons since I was 18 years old (well, that was 12 years ago?) and I’m amazed at how the industry of hair straighteners had come. Man, I think we're missing out on some great deal. Flat iron over the years, We all know the humble beginnings of hair comb or some may call them hair thongs which are made of two rods heated to straighten the hair. I never get to use this one as I was introduced to the second generation of hair straighteners and that was using a standard home clothes iron. Nah, I mean the basic flat irons made with metal plates and few heat settings. Not until the early 2000s when I saw this model with ceramic plates that most people use today. Ceramic is by far the most popular material for this product as it is both inexpensive and actually safer compared to the clothing iron or heating rods back in days. Depending on your hair type, ceramic plates are believed to lock in moisture and protect hair color. But with a lot of this model...

My 28th-Month Old: Love for Outdoors + Kidloland App Review & Giveaway

**Enter the giveaway below and get a chance to win a 3-months free subscription from Kidloland** Given the chance, Delle will organize a Sports League wherein Chloe and her friends get to wear team jerseys or shirts, line up and run around the field for a good entertaining match while us parents, stay nearby, cheer or join in the fun chasing our kids , if not the ball. Ha! Great! We're not pushing Chloe to star in sports yet but it seems like her love for outdoor games and sports launched in a little early and automatically. I don't know about you, but from that moment she begged daddy & mommy to buy that soccer ball on display, in high-pitch tone with matching tears on her eyes, I know it's  a good match to her personality. Of course, it takes time and patience to discover her lifelong source of enjoyment. And I know, no two children grow at the same rate or develop an interest in the same things but while other kids at her age further along with vocabu...

Amazing Fun Time in the Bath with Pout Care's Best Products

Hi Mommies, Is shower time always a struggle with your toddler? Here are few tricks I borrowed from other mommies that might help you turn bath time into a super fun and amazing mommy-baby bonding :) When Chloe refuses to take a shower, I try to make it fun by adding bubbles and her favorite toys in the tub. Once she sees me carrying her toys and towel to the shower room, she will follow right away. I even squeeze a little bit of shampoo for extra bubbles and splash it happily just to keep her busy. I sing silly songs, nursery rhymes, play ball games and pretend like we are swimming in a big wide pool. But a few weeks ago I was in a dilemma with Chloe's thinning hair due to hair breakage and hair fall. Her hair tends to get dry so I try to get away from applying shampoo straight to her hair and managed to use a wet washcloth when rinsing instead of directly pouring water to her head. Then, inst...
