Thanksgiving!

Imagine you are from a very poor family in a small town where's your only way to get out of your current situation is to study hard and try even harder. Everyday, you walk miles and miles away from home with an empty stomach under the scorching heat of the sun just to get to your school. Not to mention, wearing your hand-me-down clothes from cousins or teachers. Then you went to high school to one of the best schools in town as 'scholar-ng-bayan'. Though it makes you forget your current status for a while, you halfheartedly accept it as a compliment and bitterly swallowed the only thing you've had - your PRIDE! Here comes college; realizing your dreams, showcasing your talent and skills, being yourself and having your heart broken into pieces. You've always wanted to take Bachelor of Science in Advertising but the only school that caters such is also well-known at emphasizing something - you can't afford it! Now let's pretend you actually

Happy 10th Month Chloe!

So there’s this girl who owns my heart and calls me mah-mah (or is that a mam mam mam?) Well, I admit she first babbled the word PA-PA and rattles daddy-di-di every now and then; but still it melts my heart just hearing her first consonants-vowels combination.  And I’m really excited how great our conversations would be especially now, she’s turning 10 months old! And we’re celebrating her existence as usual. ******** Chloe’s size: Her dad’s upper leg :) Fascinating developments:   Well aside from an impressive high-five, kiss on the cheeks, flying kisses and some gibberish words and conversations with this babe, she can now officially stands on her own and show some moves: she can walk now like 3 steps forward and stands up. Love <3 comment-3--="">   Watch her video here                                                                                       Currently munching on:  Surprisingly enough – GOTO!

Weekend Well Spent

Last week was kind of breezy to the point where I thought it was already Friday when I’m only in the middle of my week, which is odd because when I’m excited for something and I’m looking forward to it every single day, it makes my whole month moved into a slow motion and I’m like bored to death. Gladly, my weekend didn’t pass by so sudden that I got to enjoy it with people dearest to my heart to the fullest. I love weekends so much that I decided not to care about laundry or cleaning the house (sort of) but just spend the whole two days enjoying the cold weather which means more sleeps and longer walks to the mall. Last weekend, we ate breakfast in our PJ’s, had brunch in the street food shops, enjoyed salmon and some surprisingly affordable tasty Japanese cuisine, scored some discounts on baby clothes and winter shirts, did some window shopping, had a half dozen Krispy Kreme glazed donuts for dessert and just cuddled and sang nursery rhymes at the top of our lungs.
