My Life is a Holiday (I wish :D)

I probably wrote this on an airplane, heading to Bali, wearing my favorite Zalora dress with my equally eager ‘mates for our cosmic holiday vacay we planned for years and finally came into fruition. Passport, check.  Cameras, check. Cool OOTDs, check. Everything’s check because as hip as it sounds, “started from the bottom now were here”.

Happiest 18 Months of My Life!

Last Sunday, we celebrated my mother-in-law’s birthday and we had so much fun except that there’s this little girl named Chloe who happened to be celebrating her 18 th  month also, surprisingly went on full blown tantrums and snubbing everybody for no apparent reason.

Where it’s Always Sunny!

I love the smell of streets when it just rained. But this hot and very dry month of June and July creeps out of nowhere that you just hate the instance that rainy season becomes unpredictable. And now that it hits 35 degrees Celsius on the average and then a sudden heavy pouring any time of the day, it can ruin everything. And this kind of transition is tough to dress up. It’s either you go t-shirt and short shorts style on every single day or just stay in your room with your AC on full blast. But we’re not heiress, we are hustla.  This Dipped Ruffle Skirt by Zalora is a stretchable cotton blend which means that it’s super soft to wear but cool enough to stand up wet and dry seasons. My favorite detail is the peplum design just below the waist, a perfect cover up for my belly fats. And the floral pattern spells cheerful and carefree! I wore this to our Sunday church gatherings and though I wear wedges on almost all occasion, I changed to my white Nike sneakers and too

The Lion City Is Calling I Must Go!

Back in November last year I won free tickets to Singapore on dates June 8-10 this year and was sponsored by AirAsia Malaysia . It was a pretty amusing trip because we brought our 16-month-old daughter on board. Trust me; it’s never a boring day when your toddler is around. This small but MASSIVE Island is so easy to get around with; the streets are such breeze, buses and MRT can take you everywhere hassle-free and the people are so accommodating and welcoming , an ideal holiday destination of families with small children. During staycation, we headed to Harbour Front, Orchard road, Resorts World Sentosa and of course, The Merlion. We decided not to check out Trick Eye Museum or fool around Universal Studios because our budget was so tight and I don’t see the value of it for now. But we’re definitely going back for these two when Chloe gets a little bit older. So if you’re planning to stay longer or visit more tourist places in this vibrant c

Mid Year Crisis!

The past couple of weeks have been an absolute whirlwind. The month of June was jam-packed with new career opportunity, moving out of our old apartment, parting ways with people so dearly, grief, traveling abroad and a new sense of direction. I was offered an additional position which is far more challenging than my current one for the fact that this is beyond my proficiency. I wholeheartedly accepted it though coz I feel like the timing was right for my career development.  My grandfather-in-law died one week before our scheduled flight to Singapore. The pull between your dreams and beliefs continues. We have to make careful considerations and concerns for the grieving loved ones and I’m glad God made ways to make matters better. Till we meet again grand dad. The struggle of moving in and out of our apartment was real and I have to say this has reinvigorated my energy and resourcefulness in ways I didn’t know where possible. Sometimes we just have to try, have the init
