My 28th-Month Old: Love for Outdoors + Kidloland App Review & Giveaway

**Enter the giveaway below and get a chance to win a 3-months free subscription from Kidloland**

Given the chance, Delle will organize a Sports League wherein Chloe and her friends get to wear team jerseys or shirts, line up and run around the field for a good entertaining match while us parents, stay nearby, cheer or join in the fun chasing our kids , if not the ball. Ha! Great!

We're not pushing Chloe to star in sports yet but it seems like her love for outdoor games and sports launched in a little early and automatically. I don't know about you, but from that moment she begged daddy & mommy to buy that soccer ball on display, in high-pitch tone with matching tears on her eyes, I know it's  a good match to her personality. Of course, it takes time and patience to discover her lifelong source of enjoyment. And I know, no two children grow at the same rate or develop an interest in the same things but while other kids at her age further along with vocabularies, Chloe shines more in physical activities. Well, she got it from her daddy! yay!

Right now, she can move about with confidence and play with much keenness. She even develops her own impressive moves and can strategize with her defenses. We just need to expose her to other children to see if she can exercise a bit more patience or learn the basic social skills. Although playing at home with her dad, she can follow simple commands like "kick the ball", "catch the ball", "Pick up the ball and shoot it", I'm sure playing with other kids would give her a different kind of pressure.

Ironically, while I believe that sport and playing outdoors are great to integrate into our kids' lives, sometimes I just need some activities for my kid that come with AC. Being a working mom, I love spending time at home on a weekend or during holidays. But I admit it's hard to keep Chloe entertained and active while staying indoors even with lots of toys around. After all, with some household chores to be done or some blogging deadlines to meet, I don't have a lot of time to come up with fun activities for her other than the TV or the tube.

Now, I'm having a hard time breaking this habit and making sure it will not become part of her daily routine. I'm trying to limit her viewing time to certain hours a day. And with tube and other applications, I choose only the ones that are age-appropriate, commercial free, easy to use and kid-friendly as much as possible.

I'm glad Kidloland changes the mood and gets my whole family playing. It is fully packed with fun-filled songs, nursery rhymes, lullabies and a wide variety of educational activities that keep my baby happy and active even indoors -or anywhere.

With so many other toddlers' apps available in store for us, I'm impressed that Kidloland appeals to both children and their parents. How? Well, it's not your ordinary nursery kids' app with catchy songs and videos; it gets the whole family playing, cheering and well-engaged by tapping along thousands of surprises in every character in their videos. They even composed their own songs and music and their lyrics are superb!

On top of these after installing and downloading it on #iOS and #Android, Kidloland works perfectly offline. This means Chloe will not get distracted by other shows online that can be frightening and confusing. In this way, she can focus her time learning ABCs, fruits, vegetables, colors, shapes, vehicles, animal sounds and even our favorite Christmas songs. Not to mention those very interactive games and activities that challenge, stimulate and improve hand-eye coordination, necessary for our toddlers' budding creativity and brain development. Phew, that's a lot of learning and educational activities in one affordable app!

Some key features to keep in mind:

  • ABCs with lot of examples and originally composed music and lyrics
  • All-time favorite Nursery Rhymes with a little touch of Kidloland own version
  • Hundreds of unique activities to help your child with hand-eye coordination and brain development
  • Thousands of surprises that keep you and your child well-entertained. Tap along!
  • Commercial free and works perfectly offline after downloading it!
  • Affordable, easy to navigate and user-friendly

Irresistible Me Diamond Flat Iron Review: Is it worth it?

I started using flat irons since I was 18 years old (well, that was 12 years ago?) and I’m amazed at how the industry of hair straighteners had come. Man, I think we're missing out on some great deal. Flat iron over the years, We all know the humble beginnings of hair comb or some may call them hair thongs which are made of two rods heated to straighten the hair. I never get to use this one as I was introduced to the second generation of hair straighteners and that was using a standard home clothes iron. Nah, I mean the basic flat irons made with metal plates and few heat settings. Not until the early 2000s when I saw this model with ceramic plates that most people use today. Ceramic is by far the most popular material for this product as it is both inexpensive and actually safer compared to the clothing iron or heating rods back in days. Depending on your hair type, ceramic plates are believed to lock in moisture and protect hair color. But with a lot of this model...

How To Instantly Add Luxury To Your Wardrobe

As you have probably guessed, I literally spend a good part of my day shopping online. Yep, when major sales popped out, I'll stop what I'm doing to catch a glimpse on which of those pieces look good on me. To the point, I recently spent a morning scrolling through a dozen items on shopping websites. Making me the perfect target consumer when it comes to social media marketing ads. Ha! Sadly, however, I can’t possibly purchase everything on my wishlist and so every now and then I blog about my current favorites hoping somebody can benefit from the fruits of my labor. While there are specific brands I love to cover on a weekly basis today I like to highlight and celebrate similar brands for cheap yet elegant staples to give you more unique and fashion-forward options. Just keep scrolling to get started shopping and see a couple of elegant dresses to keep your outfit on point. Clothing website, kis.net was founded on the vision ""to be a top-end garment supp...

Simple Mother's Day Celebration

My persona has changed since I gave birth to Chloe and you may be wondering how much adjustment I am dealing with? I’m talking about a massive 360 degrees turn of personality from young-and-self-centered-me to a-feeling-40-year-old-lady who have a say to almost everything (solicited or not)! In short I’m from blah to blah blah blah and blah. Lol! Everyone who knows me will tell you how extremely quiet I am. When asked about certain topic or opinion I’m completely mum thinking that whatever I have to say wouldn’t matter anyway, because well, I’m afraid I lack the experiences and guts. But I realized, with a new responsibility in mind I can do something truly great in this lifetime. I can be the voice of the voiceless through my writing. That’s when I took my blogging to a whole new level a.k.a the annoying proud parent. I think Chloe wants me to die with sweetness ayie :) And this mother’s day I want to give emphasis and address the poor health care (OR THE LAC...
